Dear Mabalingwe Country Club Homeowner
1. Documents will be lodged
The next batch of documents will be lodged approximately on the 8th July 2003. If these homeowners could please arrange for their balances to be paid into the trust account of Venter Dupper and Wildenboer Attorneys not later than the 15th July 2003.
2. Update on the animals
At the moment we have (10) giraffe, (36) zebra, (19) eland, (130) impala, (60) kudu, (42) blue wildebeest, (35) red hartebeest, (12) waterbuck, (15) common reed buck and (1) ostrich. Quite a nice selection of species!!
3. Important dates
Please keep the following dates in mind:
i) The completion of the clubhouse and initial 9-holes plus amenities will be finished around mid-October.
ii) The launch of Mabalingwe Country Club and our open-day tournament to homeowners will be Saturday, 1st November 2003.
iii) We are planning a “Media and Tour Operators Golf Day” for Wednesday, 5th November 2003.
Please note that the above are provisional dates and will be confirmed closer to the time.
4. Sales
Currently we have 20 stands available and are now selling at R580 000,00.
5. Gym equipment
We have purchased all the gym equipment for the Country Club and by the looks of things, the equipment will definitely enable us all to keep in shape.
6. Golf carts
We have also purchased the Country Club’s golf carts from E-Z-GO and they have offered the following pricing exclusive to Mabalingwe Country Club homeowners based on current exchange of $1=R8.00.
i) New E-Z-GO 2-seater TXT Series Electric complete with canopy top, basket, bagwel and charger at R30 000 + VAT each.
ii) New E-Z-GO 2-seater PDS Electric complete with programmable speed control, regenerative braking, canopy top, basket, bagwel, battery indicator and charger:
- R36 000 + VAT each (fleet car, no lights).
- R42 000 + VAT each (freedom package includes front headlight, taillights, brake lights, hooter, hubcaps and windscreen).
iii) New E-Z-GO 4-seater PDS Electric Freedom complete with programmable speed control, regenerative braking, short canopy top, 4-seater conversion kit, extra bag attachment and freedom package (as per above) and charger at R46 000 + VAT each.

7. Spas and Baths

8. Approval of architectural plans
For those of you who would like to start building, please submit your architectural plans to Hannes Wessels for approval. After your plans have been approved, you need to submit it to Bela Bela Town Council for approval. Please indicate on your plans Mabalingwe Country Club and your stand number.

9. Building rules
A set of building rules will be e-mailed to you shortly and it will be on the web-site thereafter. A homeowner, as well as your designated builder must sign off the list of requirements. Your builder has to abide by these rules, otherwise he might not be allowed on the property. Please keep in mind that this is for everyone’s best interest.
10. IMPORTANT information needed
i) Each homeowner will be issued with two Mabalingwe Country Club Homeowner car stickers. If you could please let me how many homeowners there are on your site and provide me with A contact name and ONE postal address to enable me to post it.
ii) I will also be issuing ID cards to all homeowners. If you could please send me the names of the homeowners and their spouses on each site.
The car stickers and ID cards will allow you to enter the Country Club.
