OUR BIG CATS:
A major attraction at Zebula Country Club is our lion and
tiger cubs as well as our adult cheetahs. The animals are
housed next to the Club House so can be easily seen when you
visit us.
We have up to 4 lion and tiger cubs between the ages of 6
weeks and 4 months. Visitors to the Country Club can go into
the cubs enclosure at specified times with the Ranger and
get up close and personal with these beautiful animals.
Visitors can also watch our 2 cheetahs at any time; they are
particularly playful at the beginning and end of the day.
We also manage a rehabilitation service for
injured/abandoned game animals – success stories have
included red hartebeest, porcupine, black backed jackal,
tree squirrel and many birds.
VISITOR INFORMATION
Lion Enclosure Entry
Entry times: Monday – Friday 16:00 to 17:00; Saturday 09:00
to 10:00 and 16:00 to 17:00; Sunday 09:00 to 10:00.
Entry is free although a donation towards the up keep of the
animals is greatly appreciated.
Visitors can have their photograph taken with a lion cub for
R20 each; the photograph is presented in a Zebula Country
Club display folder.
Tiger Walk
Join our Bengal tigers as they take their daily strole
around the clubhouse.
Walk times: Monday – Friday 16:00 to 17:00; Saturday 10:00
to 11:00 and 15:00 to 16:00
Sunday 10:00 to 11:00.
Cheetah Run and
Daily Cheetah Talks
There are daily talks about the cheetahs at the enclosure at
17:15
On Friday and Saturday you can watch our cheetahs strutting
their stuff at the Cheetah Run at 17:30. |
